How to submit
- Put
db_config.php, register.php and list.php in htdocs/a3/ on your InfinityFree site.
- Open
register.php in an incognito window, register once, and check that list.php shows the row.
- Fill the Activity 3 Google Form ↗ with the two links. Sign in with your @nssce.ac.in account.
- Go back to Classroom ↗ and press Turn in.
- Find your card below. Fix anything red, re-upload, and press recheck.

Common problems
- Rows named A3-… appeared in my table
- Those are the checker's test entries: every check saves one normal row and one
O'Brien <b>A3-…</b> row. They are expected. Leave them, or delete them after the deadline.
- “no <p id="result"> line”
- After a POST,
register.php must print exactly one line <p id="result">OK id=N</p> (N from $pdo->lastInsertId()) or <p id="result">ERROR: …</p>. Do not redirect to another page.
- “A correctly filled form was refused”
- The checker picks the first option of each select/radio and uses the
min of number and date fields. Make your server-side rules match your HTML, and let the name field accept any text.
- “Phone 12ab was accepted”
- The browser's
pattern check does not count: the checker skips it, as anyone can. Check the phone in PHP before the INSERT, and stop if it is wrong.
- “O'Brien … was not saved” / “shows the <b> as bold”
- Use
prepare() with :placeholders for the INSERT (a quote breaks SQL built by joining strings), and print every value on list.php with htmlspecialchars().
- My card has not changed after a fix
- Press recheck on your card (once every 5 minutes). Changed a link? Resubmit the Form; the newest entry replaces the old one and is checked at once.
