About · Kiran V.K.
Eleven years in one classroom, and I'm still learning.

I've been teaching computer science at NSS College of Engineering, Palakkad since July 2014 — eleven years, forty-odd courses across the syllabus, and one running conviction: if we're studying blockchain we deploy contracts, if it's AI we build with it. Slides that describe tools, without ever touching the tools, are a waste of everyone's afternoon.
The teaching is one half. The other half is small things I build so students learn faster than I did — a custom KTU Exam GPT a thousand of them use, a bench-answer portal that puts every phone in class on the projector, augmented-reality guides for the lab equipment, six years of solved KTU papers written line by line. When something is missing I write it and put it here, on this site, free.

"If we're learning blockchain, we deploy contracts. If it's AI, we build with it. If it's compilers, we write one. That's the whole method."
Most of my classes involve hands-on artefacts — a game to visualize what a hash does, a portal that turns benches into teams answering the same question, a lab manual system that shows a student the moment their code passes. Theory is the frame; a working thing under the student's own hand is the picture inside it.
I keep the material free and unauthenticated on this site because most of my students carry cheap Androids on unreliable data. Every extra tap is a tax. Every login is a wall.
